Dimsport New Genius Description:
New Genius is the stand alone device for the serial communication with the Engine Control Unit (ECU), through the vehicle OBDII socket or via specific diagnostic connectors.
It does not require connections to a personal computer or laptop for the management of the serial communication: it has never been so simple and immediate to achieve programming operations of the vehicle stock ECU. Intuitive operations to maximize the ease of use: New Genius is a true asset for every tuner thanks to the impossibility to perform wrong operations. Detailed instructions appear on the screen and drive the tuner until the vehicle is programmed.
Highest safety standards for the most extensive reliability during working process:
before programming the vehicle, New Genius verifies the size of the file and the checksum integrity/congruence. In addition, should the programming procedure be interrupted (example: connector unplugged), the device would recover the communication and automatically complete it. Several additional features integrate the conventional operations, like the possibility to reset faulty codes tied to the ECU programming, the reading and automatic writing of the injector settings, counters reset, etc.
In order to meet and fulfil the assorted inquiries presented by professionals, New Genius has been conceived as a flexible device, configured to support from a single, specific application to the most complete range of vehicles provided with engine control units. Dimsport provides its console with a standard OBDII socket; should this not be available an additional range of dedicated connectors would permit tuning operations via diagnostic socket.

Dimsport New Transdata
New Trasdata is a unique tool supporting all microprocessors utilized by any kind of vehicles.
When the ECU microprocessor (CPU) is provided by “anti-tuning” feature, a software patch realised by New Trasdata unlocks the OBDII communication, which is therefore restored and supported.
BENCH and Open Modes
New Trasdata supports operations in BENCH mode (direct connection to the ECU connector) and OPEN mode (connection to the ECU board in BDM, BOOT, JTAG, NBD, BAM, etc. modes) using adapters, without requiring any soldering or desoldering operations.
In BENCH mode, you don’t even need to open the ECU; simply connect to its connector following the precise instructions provided in the manuals made available by Dimsport. Additionally, thanks to the E-GPT adapter, you can communicate in BENCH mode with certain ECU models without directly connecting to the ECU.

New Trasdata allows the reading and programming of the whole content of the ECU: microprocessor (CPU), flash Eprom and serial Eeprom. A wide variety of operations is therefore supported: after the initial reading, it is always possible to retrieve the original ECU content even in the case of blocking (back-up). This tool also perform autonomous checksum recalculations to ensure normal engine working conditions after the modification. The operations can be performed without any physical soldering/desoldering intervention: a metal positioning frame provided with specific terminal adapters create the connection between the ECU board and the tool. In specific cases, it is possible to perform reading/writing operations without even opening the ECU.
